Description
Contém a contextualização histórica, caracterização escolar,
melhorar a compreensão musical e a performance.
alunos do curso básico música.
a problemática acima mencionada.
Abstract : The present report elaborated on the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice, developed at the Conservatório de Música e Artes do Centro, and the curricular unit of Research Methodologies entitled The Arrangement of a solo piece for chamber music as a to improve musical understanding and performance. The two curricular units are part of the Master’s in Music Teaching developed at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas, of the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco, in the academic year 2021/2022. In the first chapter of the document, the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice is presented. It contains the historical context, school characterization, educational project, new teaching methodologies, annual activity plan and activities carried out throughout the school year. I t includes the methodologies and general objectives of the subjects taught and characterization of the student and the class. To finish the first part, reports, and plans of a class caried out in two periods are presented, as well as a reflection on the supervised teaching practice. In the second chapter, the project The Arrangement of a solo piece for chamber music to improve musical understanding and performance is exposed through the Research Methodologies course. The main objective of this project was to make students understand the deconstruction of solo pieces to be inserted in basic music education courses. For validation, applicability and guidance of the technical content, a direct observation of classes of students of the basic music course was carried out. Through the collection of score, a formal technical analysis of the works was carried out to determine, through the program mentioned in the discipline of Guitar Ensemble, the arrangement created would be in accordance with the technical requirements of the grades in each suit. One of the objectives of this work was, through the creation of arrangements of solo piece for ensemble, to improve student’s motivation, reinforce interdisciplinarity and develop the student’s performance level. Therefore, the chapters on Motivation, Development and Learning, Role of the teacher in chamber music appear, and the Benefits of the practice of chamber music. The teacher must know the motivational mechanisms of the student’s, understand how ensemble music promotes different skills, as well as know different strategies for more efficient rehearsals. Due to the scarcity of scientific articles related to the problem, as well as some scarcity of repertoire for guitar ensemble according to the abilities of the student’s, the chapter Arrangements for Guitar Ensemble appears. This chapter presents the realization of some arrangements of solo piece, which aims to debate the problem. Finally, it ends with a presentation of the Motivations and Limitations of the Research, a Reflection of the Research, Conclusion, the entire Bibliography that supports the project and the Annexes, that contain the arrangements created for the guitar ensemble.
