Description
Abstract : This report focuses on the Supervised Teaching Practice course of the master’s in music teaching, mirroring on the one hand the practice of supervised teaching carried out throughout the academic year of 2020/2021 and, on the other hand, a study of research in the field of education. The Supervised Teaching Practice was carried out at the Music School “Nossa Senhora do Cabo” in Linda-a-Velha and the first part of the report contemplates all the work developed throughout the practice, from the contextualization of the school and the surrounding environment, the characterization of the flute student and music ensemble class, the synthesis of the pedagogical practice and, finally, a final reflection. As for the second part of this work, the reader will be provided with an investigation focusing mechanization and its pedagogical application in the Flute. This part consists mainly in demystifying, through bibliographic research, all aspects that are related to the content of mechanization, such as body position, the breathing process (inhalation, suspension and exhalation of air), the body position regarding the flute, the movement of the fingers and the existing connection between the position of the fingers, the note you want to hear and lastly, the air needed to do so. For this investigation it was used descriptive research method, having as instruments of data collection a questionnaire survey for transverse flute teachers. The results point to a greater body awareness through relaxation mechanisms.
