Description
Com este projeto pretende-se pôr em prática os conhecimentos adquiridos pela aluna ao longo da licenciatura e mestrado de modo a contribuir para o conhecimento na área do Design de UX.
Mais especificamente, sendo o método de persona uma das bases dos processos de UX Design entendeu-se fundamental compreender a relação entre a persona e o público alvo, tentando responder a perguntas como: Como verificar se a persona define corretamente o público? Até que ponto a existência de estereótipos predefinidos podem influenciar a criação de personas para um público? Pode uma persona mais visual melhorar a percessão das necessidades do público no desenvolvimento de interfaces?
A Escolhadigital é uma empresa de pequena dimensão que fornece serviços no ramo do Design de Websites, Desenvolvimento de Website, Desenvolvimento de Aplicações, Desenvolvimento de E-commerce e Desenvolvimento personalizado para serviços administrativos no regime de teletrabalho.
A aplicação prática do método persona na empresa Escolhadigital serve para poder observar, experienciar e analisar a forma como o uso deste método afeta o processo de trabalho e deste modo enriquecer o conhecimento literário.
Este trabalho contribui para a eficácia do processo de Design, em específico na área do Design de experiências de utilizador. Ao compreender a perceção das personas por cada pessoa os trabalhadores poderão atentar a possíveis problemas de comunicação e, desta forma, facilitar o processo de Design, tornando-o mais eficaz.
Para que os objetivos sejam cumpridos, foi utilizada uma metodologia mista: metodologia intervencionista e não-intervencionista qualitativa. Inicialmente foi realizada, segundo a metodologia não-intervencionista de base qualitativa, uma recolha e análise de informação literária sobre o tema de modo a criar um enquadramento teórico. De seguida, de acordo com a metodologia não-intervencionista de base qualitativa, foram realizados estudos de caso e entrevistas exploratórias a professores e especialistas da área, de modo a completar a pesquisa anteriormente referida. Mais tarde foi utilizada uma metodologia intervencionista qualitativa (investigação ativa) durante o período de estágio.
Abstract : With this project, it is intended to put into practice the knowledge acquired by the student throughout her degree and master's degree in order to contribute to the knowledge in the area of UX Design. More specifically, since the persona method is one of the bases of UX Design processes, it was understood that it was fundamental to understand the relationship between the persona and the target audience, trying to answer questions such as: How to verify if the persona correctly defines the audience? To what extent can the existence of predefined stereotypes influence the creation of personas for an audience? Can a more visual persona improve the precession of audience needs in interface development? Escolhadigital is a small company that provides services in the field of Website Design, Website Development, Application Development, E-commerce Development and Custom development for administrative services in telework regime. The practical application of the persona method in the company Escolhadigital serves to be able to observe, experience and analyze how the use of this method affects the work process and thus enrich literary knowledge. This work contributes to the effectiveness of the Design process, specifically in the area of User Experience Design. By understanding each person's perception of personas, workers will be able to pay attention to possible communication problems and, this way, facilitate the Design process, making it more effective. In order to achieve the objectives, a mixed methodology was used: interventionist and qualitative non-interventionist. Firstly, according to a qualitative non-interventionist methodology, was carried out a collection and analysis of literary information on the way to a theoretical framework. Then, according to a non-interventionalist methodology with a qualitive basis, case studies and exploratory studies were carried out with professors and researchers in the are, in order to complete the previous research. Later, a qualitative interventionist methodology (active research) was used during the internship.
