Description
Abstract : This document results from the work carried out within the scope of the attendance of the Master's Degree in Music Education, Musical Education option and Chamber Music, of the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, in the curricular units of Supervised Teaching Practice. The first part addresses the Supervised Teaching Practice, held at the Escola de Artes do Norte Alentejano – Polo de Sousel, during the 2020/21 school year, where a characterization of the surrounding environment, the school and the Class IV of Musical Education of this pole was made; plans and respective class reports are presented, ending with a critical reflection of the work developed during the traineer time. In the second part, the research work developed under the title Study of the impact of teaching - learning music on the Emotions of the Human, being is exposed, aiming to implement innovative pedagogical strategies and activities that, based on emotions, promote motivation for learning music and the teacher-student relationship. The methodology that supported the research is qualitative in nature, organizing itself as an action investigation, since I conceived and implemented pedagogical strategies and activities that aimed to respond to the lack of interest, motivation and lack of taste for the discipline of musical training. The resources that supported the intervention were essentially musical excerpts, scales, melodic intervals and chords, where students tried to associate sounds with specific emotions that met the emotions triggered by these stimuli. As data collection techniques I used observation grids to support participant observation, I also used questionnaire surveys to know the opinion of students about the strategies and materials used in the study. The results obtained show that the strategies adopted were adequate, having led to positive results. The association between emotions and musical content energized positive changes in students in terms of their posture, dedication, taste and motivation, which was my main focus at the end of this school year. Thus, the excellent evolution of students was notorious, as well as the taste for the discipline of Musical Education.
