Abstract : The purpose of this document is to report the practice of supervised teaching and the research carried out within the scope of the Master in Music Education at the Superior School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. Its part A is an internship report developed during the 2015/2016 school year, under the supervision of Professor Miguel Carvalhinho and cooperation of Professor Jorge Pires. In a first analysis, the contextualization of the school, the Castelo Branco Regional Conservatory, in its organic, social, geographic and cultural structure, in which this internship was developed, is presented. It is reported and objectively documented the planning of instrument classes, as well as the group class, contents, evaluation criteria, reports, methodologies, ending with a conclusion of the work carried out throughout the 2015/2016 school year. Part B, has as an advisor Professor Specialist Pedro Ladeira. It consists of a personally experience-do report, which analyzes a “guitar orchestra stage” in social, cultural and learning dynamics. This study was theoretically framed in fundamental concepts of music teaching, such as social interaction between peers and groups, musical identity, belonging to a group, middle school relationship, musical sharing in concert, formal and non-formal processes. The methodology developed was descriptive through surveys with the aim of validating and verifying all the concepts based on the theoretical framework. Finally, a conclusion supported by surveys recognizing the educational potential, at a social, cultural and learning level.
