Description
O presente artigo aborda a criação de livros sensoriais numa perspetiva interdisciplinar entre as artes visuais e a matemática. Foram analisados seis livros, que pretendem proporcionar uma experiência tátil, concebidos por artistas e educadoras que frequentaram a Unidade Curricular (UC)Arte e Matemática do Mestrado em Educação Artística. Este estudo discute os resultados dessa proposta de trabalho, que abrangeu a conceção de um livro sensorial e a sua estratégia de mediação educativa.
O suporte teórico mobilizou autores como John Dewey, Maria Montessory, Bruno Munari, Ana Margarida Ramos, Johanna Drucker, Amaranth Borsuk e Elliot Eisner. No final, são apresentadas conclusões sobre as potencialidades pedagógicas da criação deste tipo de livros sensoriais e as suas diversas possibilidades de mediação.
ABSTRACT : This article deals with the creation of sensorial books in an interdisciplinary perspective between Visual Arts and Mathematics. We analyze six books that intend to explore the tactile experience, conceived by artists and educators who attended the Curricular Unit Art and Mathematics of the master in artistic education. This study discusses the results of a work proposal that included the design of a sensorial book and its educational mediation strategy. Theoretical support mobilized authors such as Dewey, Maria Montessory, Bruno Munari, Ana Margarida Ramos, Johanna Drucker, Amaranth Borsuk and Elliot Eisner. At the end, conclusions are presented around the potential of creating these sensorial books and their various mediation possibilities.
