Description
Abstract : This document presents the work developed during the internship practice in the Colmillo de Morsa company, in Barcelona, and puts forward some of the resources and strategies available to designers for the creation of more sustainable fashion. The document has as goal the conclusion of the Master in Garment and Textile Design, provided by the Superior School of Applied Arts, of the Polytechnical Institute of Castelo Branco, in association with the Faculty of Architecture, of the Technical University of Lisbon. The master student also carried out a survey of relevant information about sustainability in the production of fashion, analysed the environmental and social impacts in the garment conception and production, completing this knowledge with practical application in the internship activity in the Spanish company. The internship report thus describes all the assignments performed by the master student, as well as the projects in which she participated, and the activities carried out during the internship practice in the Spanish company. Closing with a critical reflexion on procedural changes in design, which companies are implementing to follow a more sustainable model.
