Description
A primeira parte deste relatório final de Mestrado em Ensino de Música consta de
um relato do estágio no âmbito das disciplinas de Formação Musical e de Música de
Conjunto, enquadradas na unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada.
Essa atividade letiva decorreu no ano letivo de 2018/2019, na Academia de Amadores
de Música de Lisboa, estando amplamente descrita no presente trabalho. Assim,
começa-se por contextualizar o estudo, introduzindo a escola e as turmas envolvidas,
passando-se depois à descrição das práticas educativas, complementando-se esta
exposição com uma breve análise crítica dos acontecimentos.
A segunda parte do documento apresenta um estudo de caso realizado no âmbito
da unidade curricular Projeto de Ensino Artístico. Neste, partiu-se da escrita de uma
composição didática, com vista à sua preparação e apresentação em concerto, por parte
dos alunos da Academia Musical dos Amigos das Crianças, no ano letivo de 2019/2020.
Depois de se fundamentar teoricamente a importância deste empreendimento, faz-se
uma breve descrição da escola e da comunidade educativa participante, abordando-se
depois os aspetos concretos da escrita musical didática, no rescaldo dos ensaios e do
concerto. Finalmente, são analisadas as respostas a dois questionários – um feito a
professores e outro a alunos – observando-se os resultados e tentando perceber-se se
a peça foi um elemento importante para a motivação dos envolvidos.
Abstract : The first part of this document consists of a report within the scope of the disciplines of Formação Musical (Music Education), framed in the curricular unit of Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (Supervised Teaching Practice). This teaching activity took place between 2018 and 2019, at the Academia de Amadores de Música, being widely described in the present work. Thus, we start by contextualizing the study, introducing the school and the classes involved, then going on to describe the educational practices developed. To complement this exhibition, a brief critical analysis of the events is made. The second part of the document presents a case study carried out within the curricular unit Projeto de Ensino Artístico (Project of Artistic Teaching). Here, the starting point was the writing of a didactic composition, aimed to be premiered in concert by the students of the Academia Musical dos Amigos das Crianças, in the academic year 2019/2020. Consequently, after theoretically substantiating the importance of this undertaking, a brief description of the school and its community is made. After that, the concrete aspects of didactic musical writing are addressed, in the aftermath of rehearsals and the concert. Finally, the responses to two questionnaires – one made to teachers and the other one to students – are analyzed. The results are then observed in an effort to understand if the new composition was an important element for the motivation of those involved.
