Description
Abstract : This report focuses on the Supervised Teaching Practice Curricular Unit of the Master in Music Teaching, option of Musical Formation and Ensemble Music, in the classes of Choir G and Musical Formation of the sixth degree, at the Regional Conservatory of Castelo Branco, during the academic year 2018/2019. The Report integrates a research study developed based on a project built in the curricular unit of Artistic Teaching Project, which reflects the application of the knowledge acquired during the course. In a first part of the Report, we focus on knowledge of the school and teaching context. Reflective descriptions of our classes are presented, as an intern, in the disciplines of Choir and Musical Formation, as well as the plans, reflections, and didactic material used to evaluate the performance of students in the school context. In the second part, we present an Investigation Study framed in the Supervised Teaching Practice, being addressed the theme: “Technology as a tool in the auditory development of Music Education students”. The research questions guiding the study were as follows: (1) To what extent does technology contribute to the motivation of learning in Music Education? (2) How to implement strategies, using technology as a resource for the development of musical skills in Music Education? A pedagogical-didactic strategy was developed, through the use of a technological application called “Perfect Ear”, with the objective of developing the learning of musical skills, more specifically the interval and harmonic ear, the development of the motivation and the interest of students for musical formation. The investigation was based on an analysis in regards to the use of “Ear Perfect” application in the area of teaching Musical Education in Artistic Education. The methods used included lessons planning and teaching, observation records, evaluation sheets/tests; two surveys; data collection and analysis; and reflections with the purpose of developing and promoting the final results.
