O presente trabalho, pretende abordar a importância das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC), no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de uma criança com necessidades educativas especiais, em contexto de ensino pré-escolar. A criança deste estudo possui uma cromossomopatia estrutural, que faz com que o seu desenvolvimento global seja atípico, para os seus 6 anos de idade. As suas maiores dificuldades, situam-se ao nível da atenção, concentração, motricidade e linguagem. Após uma avaliação das suas dificuldades e possibilidades, a intervenção educativa teve como principal objetivo motivar a criança e otimizar a aprendizagem dos conteúdos básicos essenciais para a sua entrada na escola do 1º CEB, assim como promover a sua participação ativa e envolvimento numa tarefa. A família foi envolvida no sentido de promover um continuum… de estreitar a colaboração com a especialista em educação especial e, desta forma, tornar esta intervenção como sendo uma rotina da criança mas apresentada de maneira lúdica. Os resultados da intervenção, foram obtidos através da observação direta e participativa junto da criança, sendo possível constatar progressos no seu desenvolvimento global como melhorias na motricidade fina e acuidade visual; melhoria na consciência fonológica; melhor estruturação do pensamento e maior tempo de concentração.
The present work intends to address the importance of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the teaching and learning process of a child with educational special needs in a pre-school context. The child in our study has a structural chromosomal anomaly, which makes the overall development atypical for her 6 years of age. Her difficulties lie at the level of attention, concentration, motricity and language. After an evaluation of the difficulties and possibilities of the child, the main objective of the educational intervention was to motivate the child and to optimize the learning of the basic contents essential for her entrance into the 1st CEB school, as well as to promote her active participation and involvement in a task. The family was involved to achieve continuous and systematic intervention through playfulness. The results of the intervention were obtained through direct and participatory observation with the child, and it is possible to observe some progress in its overall development.
