Description
O presente documento resulta da realização de um estágio curricular desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Design Gráfico, ministrado pela Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco, em associação com a Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa. O estágio decorreu na empresa Matobra - Materiais de Construção e Decoração, S.A., servindo como fundamento da investigação que se pretende desenvolver paralelamente ao mesmo. Com o estágio pretende-se enfatizar o contributo do Design de Comunicação para a gestão estratégica das empresas, independentemente do seu setor, bem como, explorar o papel do Design Gáfico na obtenção de uma comunicação eficaz e uniforme. Para tal ter-se-à em conta uma metodologia mista de base qualitativa, na qual serão desenvolvidos métodos intervencionistas, como a Revisão Literária, a análise de casos de estudo e a investigação ativa. Esta investigação tem ainda como propósito resultar num projeto coerente e integrado que melhore a comunicação (interna e externa) da empresa selecionada para objeto de estudo. Neste sentido, foram estudados temas como a Gestão de Design a Comunicação Integrada, o Design de Comunicação e as Redes Sociais, sendo que, no decorrer do estágio foram desenvolvidos projetos práticos que pretenderam validar o Argumento da Investigação e o tema em apreço. Em suma, pretende-se com este estudo comprovar a impotância da Gestão de Design numa empresa, bem como o contributo do Design Gráfico para a coerência da Identidade Visual Corporativa, favorecendo a comunicação integrada.
Abstract : This document consists in the Internship Report development in the Communucation Design Internship to obtain the Master's Degtee in Graphic Design at Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas de Castelo Branco from Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco in partnership with Faculdade de Arquitetura of the Universidade de Lisboa. The Internship was held at Matobra - Materiais de Construção e Decoração, S.A. serving as the basis of the research that is intended to develop in parallel to it. The aim of this internship was to emphasize the contribution of Communication Design to the strategic management of companies, regardless of their sector, as well as to explore the role of Graphic Design in achieving effective and uniformed communication. To this end, a mixed qualitative methodology will beconsidered, in which interventionist and non-interventionist methods will be developed, such as Literary Review, Case Study analysis and Active Research. This research also aims to result in a coherent and integrated project that improves communication (international and external) of the selected firm for study purposes. In this sense, subjects such as Design Management, Integrated Communication, Communication Design and Social Networks were studied, and during the internship, practical projects were developed that aimed to validate the Research Argument and the theme under consideration. In short, this study intends to prove the importance of Design Management in a company, as well the contribution of Graphic Design to the coherence of the Corporate Visual Identity, favoring integrated communication.
