Relatório de estágio apresentado à Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários para a obtenção de grau de Mestre em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
O relatório de estágio que se segue de representa o fim de 6 anos de constantes aprendizagens e complementaridade entre a teoria e a prática para alcançar o grau de mestre em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Faz parte deste relatório de estágio um estudo de caso realizado no âmbito da Prática Supervisionada no 1º ciclo do Ensino Básico que pretende estabelecer uma possível relação entre a representação gráfica da criança sobre a família e o seu rendimento escolar. O interesse sobre este tema surgiu quando, no 2º ano da Licenciatura em Educação Básica, foi proposto analisar um desenho de uma criança, na disciplina de Didática da Expressão Plástica, tendo em conta as cores utilizadas pela criança e as representações gráficas, mas não foi possível aprofundar determinados aspetos que considero importantes no que toca ao desenvolvimento e evolução da criança. Com a questão problema já escolhida, “Poderá estabelecer-se uma relação entre a representação gráfica sobre a família e o rendimento escolar da criança?”, foram definidos objetivos que permitirá consagrá-la, nomeadamente: conhecer dados identificadores das etapas do desenho infantil; implementar atividades pedagógicas relacionadas com a temática da família; analisar as representações gráficas da constelação familiar das crianças da nossa amostra; analisar as narrativas das crianças acerca dos desenhos realizados; conhecer a opinião da professora cooperante sobre a temática analisada no estudo; analisar as relações entre as evidências (desenho, entrevistas, e texto descritivo) realizadas pelas crianças e o rendimento escolar. Tendo em conta a questão problema e os objetivos definidos, a metodologia utilizada para esta investigação é de foro qualitativo, inserindo-se na categoria de estudo de caso. Recorremos a várias técnicas e instrumentos de recolhas de dados como as entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas à professora cooperante e às crianças participantes no estudo; observação participante; notas de campo; registos de áudio e fotográficos; registos da representação gráfica das crianças, evidências de produção escolar de forma a conseguir interligar os objetivos com a questão problema. Os desenhos foram analisados tendo como base a perspetiva de Louis Corman, sendo possível afirmar que as caraterísticas que evidenciam têm alguma compatibilidade com as caraterísticas individuais dos alunos, revelando o seu sentir relativamente à sua constelação familiar. A maioria dos alunos fez a representação da sua própria família, evidenciando, em geral, uma boa integração familiar e a valorização dos diferentes elementos da família. A triangulação dos dados obtidos através da análise do desenho com os dados recolhidos no texto descritivo relativamente à relação que a criança mantem com a família e o que sente em relação a esta, permite-nos afirmar que os sentimentos descritos são de segurança e de bem-estar, sentindo-se apoiados e protegidos. Estes dados foram ainda confirmados através das entrevistas feitas individualmente aos alunos com o objetivo de saber a história dos seus desenhos, bem como pelos dados obtidos na entrevista com a professora cooperante. Em jeito de conclusão geral, poderá ser dito que os objetivos da investigação foram atingidos e que foi possível evidenciar uma relação entre o rendimento escolar e as representações elaboradas pelas crianças sobre a constelação familiar.
The following traineeship report represents the end of 6 years of constant learning and complementarity between theory and practice in order to attain the Master's degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. Part of this traineeship report is a case study carried out within the scope of Supervised Practice in the 1st cycle of Basic Education, which aims to establish a possible relationship between the child's graphical representation of the family and their school performance. The interest in this topic arose when, in the 2nd year of the Basic Education Degree, it was proposed to analyze a drawing of a child, in the discipline of Didactics of Plastic Expression, taking into account the colors used by the child and the graphic representations, but it was not certain aspects which I consider important in relation to the development and evolution of the child. With the problem question already chosen, "Could a relationship be established between the graphic representation about the family and the school performance of the child?", Defined objectives that will allow to consecrate it, namely: to know data that identifies the stages of the child's drawing; implement pedagogical activities related to family issues; analyze the graphical representations of the family constellation of the children of our sample; analyze the children's narratives about the drawings made; to know the opinion of the cooperating teacher about the thematic analyzed in the study; to analyze the relationships between the evidences (drawing, interviews, and descriptive text) carried out by the children and the school performance. Taking into account the problem question and the defined objectives, the methodology used for this research is a qualitative one, falling into the category of case study. We used various data collection techniques and instruments such as semistructured interviews with the cooperating teacher and the children participating in the study; participant observation; field notes; audio and photographic records; records of the children's graphic representation, evidence of school production in order to interconnect the objectives with the problem question. The drawings were analyzed based on the perspective of Louis Corman, and it is possible to affirm that the characteristics that they show have some compatibility with the individual characteristics of the students, revealing their feelings about their family constellation. Most of the students made representation of their own family, evidencing, in general, a good family integration and the valuation of the different elements of the family. The triangulation of the data obtained through the analysis of the drawing with the data collected in the descriptive text regarding the relation that the child maintains with the family and what it feels in relation to it, allows us to affirm that the described feelings are of security and of good to feel supported and protected. These data were also confirmed through the interviews made individually with the students in order to know the history of their drawings, as well as the data obtained in the interview with the cooperating teacher. As a general conclusion, it could be said that the objectives of the research were achieved and that it was possible to show a relation between the school performance and the representations elaborated by the children on the family constellation.
