Description
As características
ABSTRACT : Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) begins to show its symptoms from the pre-school stage and is characterized by the finding of inappropriate levels of inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity, compared to individuals of the same age or degree of development. The behavioral characteristics present in children with ADHD cause negative impacts in both school and family environments, leading to problems of school failure, organizational difficulties and relationships with others. The techniques that have been adopted by health professionals show positive results in improving the behavior of these children, however, the qualified resources and materials used as intervention in the PHDA are not very comprehensive. A review of the main literature on the PHDA was carried out, associating the phenomenon with the communication design and its possible advantages. It was developed a board game composed of didactic elements that intend to be integrated in the multimodal plan of children with ADHD from 6 to 10 years of age, with the aim of improving their symptoms and their life. At the end of the research, a project was obtained based on professional advice, which responds to the needs of users, helping and improving the management of their behavior and emotions
