Description
O design, enquanto disciplina que se liga à sustentabilidade
ecológica, quer pela via tecnológica, biomimética ou recorrendo ao seu
valor social, apropria-se de diferentes ciências ecológicas. Este paper
pretende explorar essa apropriação, nas suas componentes essenciais,
tecnológica, social, e humana; bem como os contributos ecológicos daí
resultantes, consubstanciados em proveitos e prejuízos para a
sustentabilidade social e ambiental. Pretende-se refletir sobre os
contributos tecnológicos, enquanto conceção e prática ligada
preferencialmente à (bio) ecologia e às formas de produção industrial,
mais eficientes, e apreciar as consequências sociais obtidas através de
prácas com maior pendor ambiental.
Por outro lado, é exposta a conceção social e humana, ligada ao design
para a sustentabilidade e serão consideradas diferentes teorias e autores
que expõem os contributos ambientais obtidos através da
contextualização dos problemas ambientais como fazendo parte de um
problema social.
ABSTRACT : The design, as a discipline connected to ecological sustainability, whether through technology, biomimetism or using their social value, appropriates different ecological sciences. This paper aims to explore this appropriaon in its essenal components, technological, social, and human contributions, and makes a reflecon about the contribuon to the social and environmental sustainability. It is intended to reflect on the technological contributions, while design and practice linked preferably to (bio) ecology and forms of industrial production, more efficient, and enjoy the social consequences obtained through the practices environmental. Moreover, will be explored different authors and theories, and we will expose the environmental contributions obtained through the context of environmental problems as part of a social problem.
