Description
Abstract : This report inserted into Fashion Design area, was born with the will from the graduate student to explore Author Fashion Design in a theoretical and practical way. This is related to the fact that during the academic path of the student, first during the degree in Lisbon and presently attending Masters in Castelo Branco, education prepares us (students), with a very methodical process of creation but we never realize if in the real world is the same way that it works, and if the bridge between design and creativity is made on same way. Thereby, the internship at a atelier house, in this case, Dino Alves Atelier, which his training had nothing to do with Fashion, will help to understand how he becomes one of the reference names in Portuguese Fashion Design; how different his method is from the one's are taught academically; and because the relationship between fashion and art is still located in such a fine line still generates many controversies due to the fact that it is also design. To meet the objectives is necessary a contextualization and a definition of concepts. Such as art, communication, fashion, performance. A cross between these notions to help us realize in what point we are,and confronting these parallelism with the reality experienced in the atelier, to analyse the possibility to eliminate the barriers between art and design, to treat the product / fashion show as an art form, and creating a link through the message of the author is a viable response to increase the fashion credibility and its market.
