Description
projetar, estudar, esquematizar e planificar.
Abstract : Within the concept of tradition, being an inheritance of customs and cultural goods, shared between generations over the years, where valuation and cultural practices develop in a constant of progress over time. The Accessories Design will allow to transmit this concept in the form of a collection of rye straw bags, allowing to modernize and innovate the existing and traditional products, giving it another kind of utility without being just the typical, as a collection utility object, to store food and transport small objects. The design has a fundamental role in this project, to structure and plan this innovation through an organized process of creating, with the need to design, study, lay out and plan. The Palha Fidalga brand, located in Marco de Canaveses, was born with the purpose of not letting die this tradition. Having already the brand who produced the typical traditional suitcases, it was proposed to the master to develop a more innovative and modern line of products, in partnership with the brand being agreed between both that each model developed and proposed for the brand had a model register belonging to the design team and not the brand itself. Getting the brand a percentage of the sales, but the registration of the models would be the design team. If was necessary to structure the whole process well, starting with the elaboration of a design diagram where it was intended to answer the research question, this one being "How can a fashion designer turn to traditional design into a design piece?". With this, the need arises to employ a methodology of mixed work, being it noninterventionist and interventionist. In the non-interventionist methodology, we tried to answer the research question through the research elaborated in documents, books and the internet. Regarding the interventionist methodology, this is associated with the design component where the entire creative process was conceived in the scope of the Accessory Design of the collection.
