Description
Abstract : Curricular work of the final stage of the master's degree in Interior Design and Furniture, completed at the Estúdio de Design Pedrita, in Lisbon, aiming to put into practice all the knowledge acquired academically by the graduate student. It should be mentioned this was the first time a student of the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco integrated the atelier team, whose members offered the trainee the chance to enrich his personal knowledge, namely through the exchange of experiences and the try out of the labour market, the projects and the customers. This dissertation brings together the most important work developed by the trainee in the atelier, demonstrating the versatility of the tasks performed and the way the various projects were carried out there, namely the Grão panels, one of the registered trademarks of that atelier and whose subject matter of creation are semi-industrial Portuguese tiles; and also the Entreposto project, a resale unit that intends to sell cakes "Fabrico Próprio" on the streets of the city of Lisbon, extolling this tradition so typically Portuguese, through the use of Street Food typology that takes to the outside the delicacies that are generally consumed in the physical space of pastries
