Description
Assim, a análise do
intuito deste estudo.
ABSTRACT: Manuel de Tavares, a native of Portalegre, in whose Cathedral made his training with Mestre de Capela António Ferro, then moved to Spain, where he carried out his professional career, as Kappelmeiste at various cathedrals: Baeza, Murcia, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Cuenca, where he died. Currently with a collecon of surviving compositions which comprise 28 the subject of this study, it is proposed to characterize his work, by issuing a general synthesis, able to provide an overall view. On the other hand in trying to establish a chronology of works by Manuel de Tavares, in accordance with the locaons where he pracsed his profession and where they are deposited his works we find stylistic differences between the works of youth, that is, those who come from Baeza and of Murcia, and the maturity of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Thus, the analysis of the stylistic path of Manuel de Manuel Tavares is also an aim of this study.
