Description
Abstract This report focuses on the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice, developed at the Escola de Artes da Sociedade Artística Musical dos Pousos, and on the curricular unit of Artistic Teaching Project. As far as the first one is concerned, a contextualization of the school environment and of the disciplines of Musical Formation and Class of Musical Ensemble was carried out. Afterwards, were made some reflections of observed classes, and planning and reflections of classes taught. This part of the report ends with a reflection on other activities carried out at SAMP, as well as a final reflection on the Supervised Teaching Practice. With regard to the curricular unit of Project of Artistic Teaching, was developed a project whose main objective was the creation of a Strategies Guide that contemplates activities for the learning of harmonic contents, in the discipline of Music Formation, in the 2nd cycle, based on the hearing of works of the eighteenth century. In order to theoretically justify the choice of strategies, as well as to understand the importance of the moments of musical listening at this stage of learning, a research was made around several authors, such as Gordon, Swanwick, Willems, Ramaeu, Schoenberg, among others. It is an action-investigation, which aims to understand if the moments of musical listening help students during the learning of theoretical contents related to harmony. The guide was applied by seven teachers for six weeks. Before and after the application of the guide, questionnaire surveys were carried out for teachers and students of Musical Education, 2nd cycle. Finally, the conclusions of the study were drawn up, where its limitations are pointed out, as well as the positive aspects of the research carried out.
