Description
Abstract : This report was elaborated with the goal of complying with the requirements of Master`s Degree in Music Teaching. This work describes two distinct steps, the action developed in the curricular unit of the Supervised Teaching Practice and the Arts Education Project. The first part of this report is dedicated to the Supervised Teaching Practice and is divided into three distinct parts. In the first chapter a brief characterization is made where the internship was carried out. The central body of this stage is established by the elements related to the development of pedagogical practice: student’s characterization, main objectives, programmatic contents, evaluation criteria and the presentation of four elements of planned teaching and learning and implemented throughout the practice, followed by the respective reports. This first part is concluded with the realization of a critical reflection on the work developed throughout the school year. The second part of the research project, entitled The Importance of the Study Guide in Clarinet Learning, is carried out with the of solving, from the theoretical and practical point of view, some of the gaps in the instrument's advanced learning. In the first chapter of the Arts Education Project a collection of opinions is made on which technical aspects reveal to be the most problematic in the learning of the instrument. Then, after their identification, a theoretical approach is developed on the following aspects: embouchure, mechanism and articulation. The last chapter consists in the collection and analysis of pedagogical manuals that allow the student to develop the problematic areas described above. In the end of the Arts Education Project a brief critical reflection is made about the development of this work and the way in which it can help me in order to achieve a better performance as a teacher in a pedagogical context.
