Description
Abstract : The present report refletcs the teaching practice developed in the course of the curricular unit Supervised Teaching Practice, as well as the research work developed within the curricular unit Artistic Teaching Project, and it’s divided in two parts. The first part deals with the Supervised Teaching Practice, where I present the contextualization of my internship carried out in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the characterization of the school and of the students involved, the planning and class reports, the repertoire addressed and the extracurricular activities in which I participated as well as a critical reflection of the work carried out during the internship. The second part deals with the research work developed, under the title Creation of Didactic Material Dedicated to the Teaching of Portuguese Guitar. The shortage of didactic material dedicated to the teaching of Portuguese Guitar, more specifically, didactic material that explores the richness of the link between Portuguese Guitar and Fado, was the motto for this research. From the needs detected in my personal musical teaching-learning process and by analyzing the current situation of Portuguese Guitar teaching, I intended to develop this investigation towards creating a series of studies and exercises based on the three fundamental fados in the origin of that musical genre, the Fado Menor, the Fado Corrido and the Fado Mouraria, synthesizing techniques and concepts that may contribute to the enlargement of the spectrum of the didactic material dedicated to the teaching of Portuguese Guitar.
