Description
O artigo apresentado expõe os resultados de uma investigação centrada numa jovem portadora de necessidades educativas especiais (NEE), que se encontra institucionalizada numa instituição portuguesa, com diagnóstico de síndrome de Rett (SR). Após a caracterização da jovem e respetivos contextos, partimos para uma intervenção assente numa dinâmica de planificação, ação, avaliação e reflexão, impulsionadora de práticas educativas diferenciadas e incitadoras do uso das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC), através da utilização do software Magickeyboard. Com esta intervenção pretendemos criar uma dinâmica de trabalho assente na inovação tecnológica, onde se potencie a comunicação como um elemento essencial na melhoria da qualidade de vida da jovem. Os resultados alcançados são indicadores de que a jovem, ao longo das sessões de trabalho, foi ampliando o seu nível comunicativo, pelo que o software Magickeyboard se revelou um meio ampliador e promotor da comunicação desta jovem na sua rotina diária.
Abstract - The presented article presents the results of an investigation centered on a young bearer of special educational needs (SEN), which is institutionalized in a Portuguese institution with the diagnosis of Rett syndrome (RS). After characterization of the young and their respective contexts, we set off for an intervention based on a dynamic planning, action, evaluation and reflection, driving educational practices and differentiated inciters the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) through the use of software Magickeyboard. With this action we intend to create a dynamic work based on technological innovation, which potentiates communication as an essential element in improving the quality of life of the young. The results achieved are indicators that the young along the workshops was expanding its communication level, so the software Magickeyboard proved a means of communication enlarger and promoter of this young woman in your daily routine.
