Description
comunicação, organização do espaço, interactividade). Nesse contexto,
ABSTRACT : Museums are strong pillars of modern knowledge but, for various reasons, not all are appealing nor communicating as they should, resulting in a passage of knowledge that does not always reach the audiences it was supposed to. In this new digital age, Called Industry 4.0. we are all users, be it a service or applications and in any of the situations the user expects a personalized experience. This article is part of a doctoral research in design that aims to study communication and public involvement with museums, in particular the Pena Palace-Museum (located in Portugal in the Sintra region), analyzing the possibilities that the Service Design can offer (management, communication, organization of space, interactivity). In this context, this article is based on a review of the literature and launches the pertinent question to this investigation, makes arguments as to its pertinence, as well as on the delimitation of the object of study of the same. In addition, it formulates the hypothesis and addresses some methodologies and methods that appear to be conducive to research Thus, we hope that the results of this research will contribute to the knowledge and definition of service design systems that improve the link between museums and visitors and become centers of knowledge in their overall experience. For this, we intend to review the solid literature on the subject, of which this article represents a small part of this study. It is also the objective to study methodologies that contribute to the fusion of the practice with the scientific and academic environment. The reason why we intend to use the Pena Palace as a case study is related to privileged access to the information necessary for the success of this research, as well as to the facilities and public of the institution.
