Description
posturais, perder força e endurance, senr dor e desconforto.
que contribuem para a diminuição de queixas e prevenção de lesões;
ABSTRACT: Musicians and music students present numerous musculoskeletal complaints such as muscle pain and fague associated with the practice of instruments. These may be due to the intensity and demands of technique such as repeated postures and maintained. Not having a therapeuc intervenon or a change in habits, the musician may lose some of its functionality, develop postural asymmetries, losing strength and endurance, pain and discomfort Initially 2 questionnaires were distributed (Nulli 20 and a questionnaire completed by the author of the study) to 41 music students. In practical applicaon of the study, were given teaching sessions with the counseling strategies that contribute to the reducon in complaints and injury prevention; classes of motion (7 sessions); stretching sessions (2 sessions) and relaxation sessions (2 sessions). Complaints in music students focus on cervical, lumbar and upper limbs, parcularly in the shoulders and wrists. Mostly, was that the presence of ngling in the upper limbs. As to the pracce sessions, there were improvements in physical activity, the impact on psychosocial life and sleep, although without statistical significance. There were no changes to the working level and for iatrogenic effects an increase of the symptoms. However, the total score of the quesonnaires reveals improvements for the subjects who had physiotherapy intervenon. The creaon of injury prevenon programs in schools and conservatories of music can be beneficial, contribung to the reduction of complaints and for the prevention of injury, increasing the quality of life and effectiveness of these professionals.
